Let's Meet Our Food...
Pita is a bread that has been around for 1000s of years surviving many cultural revolutions and a standard of Middle Eastern, Arabic and Mediterranean cuisine.
Pita is a flatbread which holds a pocket in the middle. This gives it a unique capability to securely hold various ingredients to create that perfect umami inside a bread. The pocket can also hold sauces and wont have you wiping yourself clean afterwards.
Popular things to put inside pita are meats such as Chicken, beef or fish with any mix of vegetables that suits your taste. Then add some cheese or topping with a sauce and voila you have a perfect pocket sandwich.
Here at MASSA we provide the perfect compliments which represent the ideal toppings to put inside a pita. Try our chicken or falafel pita to provide a classic selection of pita toppings. Or our beef pita which uses a different aspect and quality of the pita!
Falafel's history is steeped in controversy as to its origins. However, one thing for certain is that it is a staple food seen on any street all over the Middle East.
